"1992"
A 2D sidescroller prototype built entirely with iPad Pro art assets and Unreal Engine — about a young girl in a small mountain town caught in the middle of a magical blizzard.
The Challenge
An experiment in constraints: can you make all art assets for a 2D sidescroller game using only an iPad Pro, then build the full game in Unreal Engine? The concept: a story about a young girl in a small mountain town in the middle of a magical blizzard, set in the year 1992.
Our Solution
Every art asset — characters, environments, props, and effects — was hand-drawn on an iPad Pro, then imported into Unreal Engine to build a working game prototype. The result is a playable sidescroller with a handmade, illustrated aesthetic that feels distinctly personal — proof that AAA tools and a tablet are all you need to bring a story to life.
