The mountain behind this page is the one outside the window. The studio works from Mount Shasta, California: we built the south county's digital newspaper, the lab is building the county's community app, and if you run a business anywhere in Siskiyou County, we would like to build for it too.
The Founder
Twenty years building for the web, plus the studios behind Halo and the Vive launch.
Wise Mountain was founded by Will Waltz, a creative technologist who's been building for the web since he was 14, when he started his first business and never looked back.
From early webmaster roles to a SoHo ad agency where he learned what makes people click, to over a decade in AAA studios. Will's career has always been about making digital experiences that move people. His skillset has seen him work with companies like Bungie, Microsoft / 343 Industries, Valve, Brave, and Outside Magazine to name a few.
That breadth is Wise Mountain's edge, and our own products are its proof. The result: software that feels alive. The polish of a AAA studio, with the care of a founder who answers his own email.
