Magic

Magic

Some projects don't fit a category: a game built as a gift, a story hand-drawn on an iPad, an interface nobody's tried before. Magic is where improbable ideas get made real — with game engines, film, code, and craft all on the same bench.

Ideas That Don't Fit a Category

We once built an entire game in Unreal Engine as a Chinese New Year gift — eight waves of gravity-bending gameplay, with a digital red envelope of cryptocurrency waiting at the end, made for exactly one player. We drew every asset for a sidescroller on an iPad Pro just to see if it could be done. We shot a short film for a beloved Seattle coffee shop. None of these started as a brief. They started as someone saying "wouldn't it be amazing if…" — and that's the only requirement for this service.

The Full Toolbox

Magic works because the whole workshop is on one bench. Fifteen-plus years of AAA animation and game development, film production, native app engineering, and web craft — the same hands that shipped Halo cinematics can storyboard your idea, prototype it in an engine, score it, film it, or ship it as an app. Whatever shape the idea wants to take, we already speak the language it needs.

How It Works

Bring the idea, however unformed. We'll talk through what makes it magical, scope the smallest version that keeps that magic intact, and give you an honest read on what it takes. Some magic is a weekend prototype; some is a full production. Either way, you'll know before we start — and if it's a surprise for someone, it stays a surprise until the reveal.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a magical idea?

If describing it makes someone say "wait, you can do that?" — it qualifies. A game starring your best friend. An interactive story for a proposal. An art piece for your storefront. A tool that shouldn't exist yet. If it doesn't fit a category on this page, it probably belongs here.

How much does magic cost?

It's scoped one idea at a time. A small experiment or prototype can be surprisingly affordable; a full production is priced like one. We'll always tell you the honest cost of the smallest version that captures the magic before you commit to anything.

Can you keep it a secret?

Yes. Some of our favorite projects were gifts, and a gift only works if it's a surprise. We're comfortable working under wraps and timing the reveal to the moment you have in mind.
