The Challenge

Halo Infinite was a massive open-world reinvention of the franchise, requiring cinematic quality animation across campaign cutscenes, gameplay systems, and multiplayer — all on a proprietary engine with a team spanning multiple studios and hundreds of contributors.

Our Solution

Will served as Principal Animator with responsibilities spanning cinematic animation, gameplay pre-visualization, conceptual animation, cinematic workflow and software feature development leadership, and VFX pre-visualization. This meant shaping the visual language of in-game cinematics while simultaneously building and improving the tools and pipelines the rest of the animation team depended on.
